More Music’s Lantern Festival will be lighting up the West End of Morecambe on Saturday 6th December.

An uplifting community celebration of light and music, this year’s Lantern Festival will once again fill the streets of Morecambe’s West End with colour, music and creativity. Led by the vibrant Baybeat Streetband and featuring beautiful community-made lanterns, the procession will wind its way through the West End, bringing light and music through the streets.

In the run-up to the event, people are invited make their own lantern with local artists at More Music on Saturday 29th or Sunday 30th November before joining the parade with their lantern, the following weekend. Alongside this, lantern making workshops will take place in Morecambe schools and with community members from West End Impact and ReStore.

Alongside the event and workshops, More Music are inviting sea creature designs to be part of a digital seascape which will be animated and projected on More Music’s building during the procession. Details of this will be available on the More Music website.

The Lantern Festival begins with performances featuring new music created by the More Music community at 4pm, before people collect their lanterns at 5pm. There will be community singing to bring the festive spirit at 5.15pm before the Lantern Procession begins at 6pm. The parade, led by Baybeat Streetband, will weave through the West End before returning to More Music for a Finale Celebration at 7pm.

Marianne Barraclough, Executive Director of More Music, said:

“We are delighted to be working with our brilliant community to create the West End Winter Lantern Festival, marking the start of the festive season with warmth and light. I’m looking forward to hearing all the new music that is created in the sessions here in the run up to the event, and to see the beautiful lanterns and sea creature designs which will be projected onto the building, but most of all I’m excited to see the community come together for this beautiful event, which plays an important role in celebrating this area. I hope you will come and join us to experience the magic for yourself!”

Everyone is welcome to join or watch the parade, take part in the community singing and enjoy performances from Baybeat Streetband, Sound Intervention, Cacophony Arkestra and other special guests

Hey hey! Caught myself scrolling around for something new last week and ended up on https://casinopk.net/ and wow, it immediately felt different from the usual grind of sketchy casinos. I started off cautious, dropping tiny bets while checking how fast the games pay out and if withdrawals actually hit my account on time. What really hit me was how immersive the slots are—like, it’s easy to get sucked in but also easy to control if you stick to your limits. One trick I’ve learned is to track your streaks and step back after a couple of big wins; it keeps the adrenaline high but your wallet intact. Feels like the more you respect the game’s pace, the more it respects you back—makes every spin feel like it’s actually worth it.

I've always been interested in trying to flirt with someone and finding my soul mate, so to speak. Now I actively use flirting app https://www.flirtini.com/ and I think that only here can I get what I'm missing in my life. I love romance and intrigue, and that's what definitely brings me a lot of emotions.

As we headed out to the embankment for the evening lights show, I'd been buzzing with anticipation all day, but on the way, I received a message saying our reservation was "under review," and my mood instantly plummeted. Standing among the shining figures, the only thought in my head was whether we'd be left without a place to stay. To keep anxiety from devouring the entire celebration, I opened https://hotelbeds.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html and, from familiar stories, learned how such glitches are usually resolved. This unexpectedly brought me back to my senses: I calmly contacted the host, confirmed the details, and was finally able to simply gaze at the sea of lights without being distracted by the disorganized service.
