Pleasure Beach Resort has unveiled a jam-packed line up of events and activities for friends, families and thrillseekers alike this October half term.
From family-friendly Halloween activities during the day, to a terrifying, live actor scare event by night, here’s a round up of everything guests can enjoy:
Halloween daytime activities (October 11 – November 1 and included in eTicket)
As well as creepy decorations around the park, families can get stuck in with fancy dress competitions, and spooky games with a DJ in the Hub area. There will also be roaming characters throughout the day, and the park’s catering units will have a selection of Halloween themed food and drink.
Journey to Hell (October 23 – November 1)
Journey to Hell is a terrifying, experience led event, featuring live actors through themed areas of Pleasure Beach Resort, immersive scare zones and unlimited riding on four rides after dark – Grand National, Flying Machines, Derby Racer, and Launch Pad.
Guests can brave four scare zones, Cabinet of Curiosities, Twisted Tunnels, Down the Rabbit Hole (live-action ride), and Ghost Train: Vault of Shadows (live-action ride).
And brand-new scare zone, Abyss, where brave guests are challenged to navigate the winding crevices of the River Caves ride in order to make a gruelling descent to hell.
Cabaret Extreme (October 23 – November 2)
In The Globe theatre, this show is a collision of burlesque, daring drag, extreme stunts, and contemporary circus.
There are two versions available to watch, one an adults only extreme performance, and the other a tamer family-friendly showing.
Evolution of Magic Show (Until October 31)
Magicians Craig Christian, and Britian’s Got Talent’s Elizabeth Best perform cutting-edge illusions, mesmerising performances, and thought-provoking themes in their magic show with a twist at Pleasure Beach’s Horseshoe venue.
Ken Webster Comedy Hypnotist (Throughout October)
Ken’s show boasts interactive hypnotic routines, blending mind tricks, side-splitting humour and audience participation in a bold, adults-only spectacle.
CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort, Amanda Thompson OBE said: “Although summer is our peak season, we don’t shy away from the colder months. In fact, we have huge calendar of events and activities right up until Christmas. We want everyone to enjoy our park, whatever the season.”
Pleasure Beach is open until November 29, when the park will hold an end of season fireworks display.
Tickets to the park can be bought here. For the best prices always book online in advance.
Tickets to any of the events mentioned above can be bought through the shows and events page on Pleasure Beach’s website.
