Chorley Flower Show 

25th – 27th July 

Chorley Flower Show returns for its 10th Anniversary, with a whole weekend of flowers, spectacular show gardens and family fun. Expect floral displays from award winning exhibitors, outstanding entertainment including children's zone with fairground rides and vintage carousel, live music, vintage and classic car display, vintage dancing, dog zone and more! Visitors can also enjoy entry into the historic Astley Hall and fantastic food and drink.

SeekOut Music Festival, Gisburn Forest  

25th – 27th July  

Join this summer's SeekOut, an adventure filled with live music, arts, and family-friendly activities. Perfect for all ages providing an escape from the pressures of everyday life this weekend of music, arts and nature is a must visit for those looking to get in touch with nature in a beautiful setting.  The weekend will include high-quality live music and DJs, arts and crafts, puppetry, hammocks, yoga, forest walks, poetry, juggling, tai chi, sound baths and marshmallow toasting by the campfire.

Towneley Hall Reopening, Burnley 

25th July 

Towneley Hall Art Gallery and Museum will reopen its doors this weekend following a three year refurbishment project.  Restoring the jewel in the crown of Burnley has resulted in the redecoration and conservation of plasterwork in the Great Hall to make it magical once more. Visitors can explore the hall which was home to the Towneley family for over 600 years and its period rooms, hung with original 19th century artworks and furnished with a vast collection of Lancashire-made oak furniture. The miniature model of the hall brings the building to life in every brick, chimney and window, a tiny tribute to centuries of stories. There’s something around every corner to surprise curious minds, young and grown-up alike so head along for a visit.

Wanderland, Poulton Le Fylde, Wyre

Have a wild time at Wanderland! Enjoy live performances from CBeebies stars Bluey and Bingo, and dance along to your favourite songs with the Boogie Monsters, 'the UK's multi-award winning, fun and interactive band for kids and families'! Children will also get to meet their favourite superheroes, watch out for Zeus the roaming T-rex, experience the animal roadshow, plus, they can run and bounce through our 70-foot inflatable assault course, and much more!

Own a Pony Day, HAPPA at Shores Hey Farm, Burnley 

26th July   

Have you got a pony enthusiast who wants to own their very own pony? Now you can find out with the help of HAPPA! Join the team for an exciting day of pony ownership and tend to your very own steed. Perfect for children ages 6 to 16, they will gain valuable knowledge and an insight into what it is like to care for a pony, via hands on practical learning. There is even an opportunity for each child to have a ride on the School Master pony! 

Parents are invited to explore the stables and grab a bite to eat whilst they wait for their horse enthusiasts to complete the day. Visit The HAPPA Cafe onsite at Shores Hey Farm for a delicious meal, coffee or sweet treat!

Family Fiesta Schools Out for Summer, Kanteena, Lancaster 

26th July   

Schools out for the summer and Kanteena are here to help you celebrate! The summer edition of family fiesta takes place in the cool neighbourhood warehouse style venue with 90s classics house party style DJs, live music, circus performances and more. Expect fun and games like Splodge-a-Matic, under 5s and big kids inflatables and outdoor games. There will be a junk yard orchestra, face painting, balloon modelling, Lego station, didi drivers, DJ workshop, and more! Plus, a £2 kids street food menu, ice cream and milkshakes, sweet treats and menu for the grown ups too including craft beers, wines, spirits and the Kanteena kitchen street food that so many people love.

Embrace your inner magician at East Lancashire Railway this weekend! Do you have a wizarding world that you would love to be a part of? Then look no further than The Wizarding Adventure at East Lancashire Railway, where students aged 5 and up can sign up for a spellbinding school of sorcery, and learn to become a master of mystery and magic.
