One Night in Dublin Wednesday 2 July at 7.30pm

Sip Whisky in The Jar and spend an unforgettable night out at the ultimate feel-good Irish music show as Middi and his award winning band The Wild Murphys cover all the Irish classics including Galway Girl, Tell Me Ma, The Irish Rover, Dirty Old Town, The Wild Rover, Black Velvet Band and many, many more accompanied by live fiddle and accordion. With singalong songs by The Pogues, The Saw Doctors, The Dubliners, Flogging Molly, The Dropkick Murphys and more, this is a must see for anyone who loves Irish music. AVR presents The ShowSaturday 5 July & Sunday 6 July at 7pm

AVR Dance is thrilled to return to the Grand Theatre stage for its third year following hugely successful previous appearances. The 2025 show will bring another high energy spectacular, packed full of more than 150 talented students from both the Dance and Theatre School, all showcasing a mixture of dancing, singing and acting via a compilation of excerpts from much-loved musicals, including The Lion King, Toy Story and Newsies, alongside stories from Roald Dahl Classics, a beautiful piece from The Nutcracker and a New York Extravaganza. It’s the perfect experience for any musical, dance or drama lover or budding youngster that loves to dance and sing! Tickets £23.50.

Leo Sayer – Still Feel Like Dancing? – Wednesday 9 July at 7.30pm

British music legend Leo Sayer is back with thunder in his heart to perform an exclusive hit-packed evening that’s not to be missed and he still feels like dancing! Leo Sayer has spent over five decades as an iconic singer and songwriter and is known across the world over for his army of hits which include Thunder In My Heart, Moonlighting, One Man Band, I Can’t Stop Loving You, More Than I Can Say, Have You Ever Been in Love, The Show Must Go On and the transatlantic number one singles When I Need You and, of course, You Make Me Feel Like Dancing. London City Ballet – Momentum - Saturday 12 July at 7.30pm

The internationally renowned dance company will make a spectacular return to The Grand for the first time in over 30 years with the UK PREMIERE of its unmissable new repertoire as part of Blackpool’s Capital of Dance Festival. Momentum will showcase artists rarely seen in the UK, as the company’s programme grows bigger and bolder for 2025 under the expert Artistic Direction of Christopher Marney. In keeping with the creative company’s ethos of bringing rarely seen works to the stage, LCB will present:

George Balanchine’s Haieff Divertimento – an early work by the master choreographer and unseen outside the USA;

New York City Ballet artist in residence Alexei Ratmansky’s Pictures at an Exhibition which brings Wassily Kandinsky’s best known masterpieces beautifully to life;

Liam Scarlett’s Consolations & Lieberstraum - a response to Franz Liszt’s piano score depicting the lifecycle of a relationship from blossoming to fracturing love,

and Soft Shore from emerging choreographer, Florent Melac - best known as a Premier Danseur at the Paris Opera Ballet, whose work combines inventive transitions with intimate partnering. An unmissable evening of Tickets from £15.

Living The Life of Riley – Tuesday 15 July at 7.30pm

Much-loved soap star Vicky Entwistle will lead the cast of the heart-warming, heart-breaking and hilariously honest family tale of The Riley family negotiating their way through teenage tantrums, autism and Grandma…

This celebrated new drama comes direct from rave five-star reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and is a bold and touching story that dives headfirst into the emotional messiness of modern family dynamics. Joanne Riley always knew there was something different about her son Jackson, he didn’t interact with other kids was very demanding and rarely spoke. Then came the bombshell: Jackson was diagnosed with autism. Everyone tried to pull together but when Grandma moved in to ‘help out’ things took a decided downward turn!!! Theatre Heritage Tour – Grand Opulence – Wednesday 16 July at 11am & 12noon

Take a glorious, guided tour through this Grade II* listed building and immerse yourself in over 130 years of theatrical history. Discover the theatres fascinating heritage, front-of-house Grandeur and Opulence with this 45-minute tour that includes the Stalls, Dress Circle, Walkway, Royal Box & Stage Door. There is no theatre quite like The Grand. The published descriptions in 1894 said so, and contemporary theatregoers agree. This is renowned architect Frank Matcham’s masterpiece theatre, with a long and lively history. Tickets £12.50 per person. Recommended for ages 6+. Involves stairs.

Love Hurts – Power Ballads and Anthems – Friday 18 July at 7.30pm

The inimitable Steve Steinman roars back into The Grand to star in his brand-new show which features a powerhouse cast of amazing singers and a seven piece live band. Have the night of your life, rocking out to some of the greatest power ballads and anthems of all time that broke a million hearts and rocked the world. Including tracks from Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Aerosmith, Tina Turner, Cutting Crew, Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Rainbow, Van Halen, Europe, Air Supply and many more. The Lancashire Hotpots – Definitely Maybe Tour – Saturday 19 July at 7.30pm

It’s time for Chippy Tea and a great BIG Saturday night out as Bernard and the boys return to serve up a fun filled evening packed with fabulously silly songs and the irresistible humour that has made the Hotpots famous throughout the land. Expect to be singing all your Hotpot favourites: I Fear Ikea; Egg, Sausage, Chips & Beans and of course the infamous Chippy Tea! Strap yourself in for an unbeatable Saturday night of music and laughs. The good times are back! Tickets £25.

Rarity School of Dance – Movies and Musicals – Sunday 20 July at 2pm & 7pm.

It’s time to celebrate the best loved movies and musicals with Rarity School of Dance, as the popular Lytham St Annes dance school celebrates its 12th award-winning year and makes its dazzling debut at The Grand as part of Blackpool’s Capital of Dance Festival. This memorable montage of dance will feature Ballet, Tap, Freestyle, Jazz and Contemporary Modern from the talented students aged from just 3 years old to adults. Tickets from £23.20.
