HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Association) have Christmas all wrapped up with a range of Christmas activities for all this December. The Christmas events will all be held at the Charity’s Shores Hey Farm, Briercliffe, Burnley, BB10 3QU, to help raise funds.

The Charity has put together an event calendar packed full of Festive Delights. Families, supporters, and friends are encouraged to show their support for the vital equine welfare work of the Charity by attending an event and/ or enjoying a festive lunch in The Café to celebrate Christmas.

Throughout December visitors to the Farm will be able to purchase and decorate their own bauble daily between 11am and 4pm, a great idea to make a personalised gift for a loved one, or for your tree.

Santa visits The Café on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th December, and guests can book to see him on the all-inclusive breakfast or afternoon sessions but be sure to book early for these dates as the adorable HAPPA Percy, the Shetland, will also be passing by to say a special hello.

The Café will be offering a Festive Menu full of delicious treats and Afternoon Teas from 27th November. On Friday 15h December The Café is also hosting a Festive Evening with entertainment by Emily Herbert, guests are advised to book early for this one. HAPPA’s Educational Programme are running Own a Pony Days on 20th, 23rd and 27th December, a great opportunity to learn more about horses and ponies and get up close to HAPPA’s lovely residents. There will also be Pony Grooming sessions on 19th December for those aged four and over to get the chance to make a HAPPA pony gleam for Christmas.

On Thursday 21st December Santa will be popping by again with a special visit for all those who attend Woof Shack. Between 11am and 4pm your canine companion will be able to visit Santa and receive a gift for just £5.
