Children can explore their creative side at two new craft workshops taking place at Barton Grange Garden Centre this summer.

The hands-on classes give kids the chance to have fun and let their imaginations run wild by painting their very own colourful garden accessories which they can take home with them.

Barton Grange Events Organiser Georgina Jackson says: “The workshops are designed to nurture and develop children’s creativity by providing them with the materials and inspiration to experiment with painting in a fun and friendly environment. Then they can take home their unique designs to display in their own gardens!”

Aspiring mini-artists will love the Paint Your Own Ceramic Summer Gnome or Pixie event on 17th August. Each child chooses the garden figure of their choice and decorates it as brightly as they can.

Priced at £6 per child, there are four sessions at 10am, 11.15am, 12.30pm and 1.45pm running for 45 minutes.

On 24th August, children can enjoy the Paint Your Own Wooden Bird Box event. This session is priced at £10 per child and runs for one hour at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm or 2.30pm.

Children must be aged over three and be accompanied by an adult at all times. Booking online is essential at bartongrange.co.uk
