The Crafty Vintage monthly Artisan Market will now pop-up on the last Sunday of every month in the Ribble Valley village of Whalley, starting this Sunday 26 March. The market will feature local makers, creators, and artisans selling unique, handmade products.

This market is also an opportunity to enjoy live music performances by a variety of emerging and established musicians on a pop-up stage, and savour delicious street food from various food trucks serving international flavours.

Shopping locally has many benefits, including supporting the local economy, reducing environmental impact, and promoting community development. By purchasing products made by local artisans, residents and visitors can help to create jobs and drive economic growth in Whalley. Additionally, the market will promote a circular economy, where products are made, used and repurposed locally, reducing the need for long-distance transportation and the associated carbon emissions.

The artisan market will provide an opportunity for makers and creators to build their businesses by showcasing their products to a wider audience. This will help them to grow their customer base and increase their sales. Many of these products are made with sustainable and eco-friendly materials, supporting the conservation of natural resources and promoting sustainable living.

“We are thrilled to be launching the monthly market in Whalley,” said Laura Johnson founder of Crafty Vintage, “It will be a great opportunity for local artisans to showcase their talents, for musicians to showcase their music, for foodies to enjoy international flavors and for residents and visitors to discover and support the amazing talent in our community. It's also an opportunity for us to promote sustainable living and a circular economy by shopping locally and supporting eco-friendly products”

The market will take place on the last Sunday of every month from 11am to 4pm at The Swan Pub Car Park. For more information, please contact craftyvintage.com/whalleyartisanmarket
