Highest Point Festival (Friday 14th May – Saturday 15th May 2021) - Lancaster’s largest open-air music festival – is set to return to the stunning, 54-acre grounds of Williamson Park next summer with an impressively diverse lineup, boasting a wealth of upcoming, renowned and award-winning names.

Despite the double disappointment of having to postpone this year’s festival in May and the following rescheduled date in September amidst Coronavirus concerns, organisers Jamie Scahill and Richard Dyer have remained in high spirits. Determined to bring the much-loved festival back to the historical northern city and its music loving inhabitants, the pair have been working tirelessly to deliver what will be their most ambitious event to date.

Festival Director Richard Dyer said: “We're going to throw the biggest, most outrageous party of 2021. We cannot wait for you all to see how we plan to transform the beautiful Williamson Park once again, into an amazing, sensory overloading festival site”.

Following on from 2019’s hugely successful instalment, which welcomed 15,000 music fans to witness the likes of The Zutons, Feeder, Grandmaster Flash and Sister Sledge, Highest Point 2021 will see some of the UK’s biggest, chart topping and most sought-after artists heading up the bill.

Recently added to the already jaw dropping lineup, prolific Drum n Bass heavyweight Sub Focus is set to bolster proceedings on the second day of the festival (Saturday 15th May 2021) performing just before Brit and MOBO award-winning singer/songwriter Ella Eyre. The pair will join recent Ivor Novello award winner Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, 9-piece dub band Gentleman’s Dub Club, The Lottery Winners, The Cuban Brothers, Lancaster natives The Lovely Eggs, Charlotte OC and the Funkademia DJ’s.

On the opening day (Friday 14th May 2021), revellers can expect to see world class sets from the likes of Rudimental, performing a high-octane DJ set loaded with hits such as ‘Feel the Love’, ‘Rumour Mill’ and ‘Waiting All Night’, DJ Wilkinson alongside MC AD-APT, Becky Hill, rising hip-hop star Ms Banks whilst Do Not Sleep have their own stage with Richy Ahmed headling.

Festival Director Jamie Scahill said: “We’re delighted that all of the artists that were due to join us earlier in the year have agreed to perform at the festival in 2021. This is by far the biggest and best bill of artists we’ve ever brought to Lancaster.”

The 2021 edition of Highest Point will also see the return of the ever-popular Big Family Day Out on Sunday 16th May 2021, where young and old will be encouraged to get stuck into arts and crafts, take part in treasure hunts and join magical guided tours around the enchanting park.

Tickets for Highest Point 2021 are now available to buy from Skiddle.
