Stay home and stay safe this Easter. We are urging you not to visit Lancashire beauty spots this weekend but instead celebrate this holiday at home. So, we’ve put together a few virtual plans that you and your family can get involved with.

  • Instead of visiting Rivington Pike for the annual Easter Pilgrimage, get involved with their competition to win a free family ticket to a future event there #RivEGGton

  • Many visitors flock to Avenham Park on Easter Monday, a tradition that has occurred for the last 150 years. However this year we are pushing to get involved with the #BigIndoorRoll take a look at @MakeDoDrink1 on twitter for more details

  • Enjoy an all access virtual tour of Blackpool. Check out their brilliant online collection of rollercoaster rides, water slides, tours of venues and attractions & much more!

  • Do some Easter Baking with The Larder, they have plenty of YouTube videos available for you to watch and try out yourself

  • Enjoy some Easter treats from TOTI, lots of tasty goodies and fantastic gift ideas

  • We are conducting our own virtual Easter Egg hunt on our social media channels, stay tuned with our Twitter and Facebook as each morning we post an image and it’s up to you to find the rose

  • Don't forget to visit our #BringLancashireHome page where you will find virtual tours and family activities to give you a taste of our beautiful county.

There is also plenty of traditional things to do in your home. Create your own Easter Egg hunt for the family to enjoy, make an Easter wreath or bake some Easter treats!

Whatever you get up to this weekend, have a good one and stay safe.
