THE ATTRACTION’S CHRISTMAS GROTTO IS COMPLETE WITH SANTA, SKATING AND LOTS OF SEASONAL SURPRISES

With December just around the corner, Blackpool Pleasure Beach pulls back the curtain on its magical Christmas Grotto and Ice Skating event.  A true winter wonderland, the Grotto offers an enchanting festive experience for little ones. Be greeted by Mrs Claus and guided through Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s very own North Pole, before meeting the star of the show – Father Christmas.

A truly interactive experience, Father Christmas will ensure all children have a present to put under the tree. All ticketholders will also receive a Diamond Season Pass, worth £40 and providing access to the park and selected rides for the whole 2020 season.
As well as visiting Father Christmas and writing a Christmas letter, little ones can make a wish with Miss Xmas Eve at the magical Wishing tree; design, create and take home a festive Christmas bauble and magical key, with a special message attached, so Santa can drop of presents even without a chimney.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s magical elves are on hand to take guests on incredible adventures to amazing places with the help of their magic green screen. The Magical Christmas Cinema will be showing a range of festive films to help visitors get into the Christmas spirit before take a spin on the attraction’s Ice Rink.

After all this festive fun, little ones can enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate and marshmallows, whilst parents indulge in a spiced mulled wine from the bar.
Discussing the Christmas Grotto and Ice Skating event, Managing Director of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Amanda Thompson OBE, said: “Christmas is a wonderful time of year and we are delighted to be sprinkling a little festive magic once again with our Grotto.   “It is an absolute pleasure to see such excited little faces; I’ve had it on good authority that Father Christmas has been very generous this year. The Ice Rink is such a big part of Blackpool Pleasure Beach’s history; we are delighted to be offering complimentary ice skating as part of the event.”

Opening on November 2nd, the Grotto will be open between 10:30am and 4pm every Saturday and Sunday until December 15th. From December 21st, the glittery Grotto will be open daily until Christmas Eve for those looking to get final requests to Father Christmas.   Tickets start at £15 per child and can be purchased online or at the attraction. For parents in the Christmas Spirit, Blackpool Pleasure Beach provides complimentary entry for two accompanying adults within the Grotto and discounted access to the Ice Rink.
