Until Tuesday 23rd April, Cedar Farm in Mawdesley has a programme of Easter workshops and activities for all ages to enjoy.

There are the ever popular cookie decorating and facepainting activities, and in Cedar Farm’s very own story shed will be strorytelling sessions for all ages with Wild About Story.

Cedar Farm Gallery  will be running workshops in Mini Beast Puppet Making and Lino Printing and there are drop in sessions at The Clay House to create a bunny head decoration or paint a clay egg with bright spring colours and patterns.

The Easter Trail map will show you how to find 12 hidden eggs  - and claim a special certificate and a sweet reward! (there’s extra help in the shops too!). Children can feed the animals in the family farm or play in the dens, wicker teepees and wooden tractors in the adventure playground. Adults can taste the freshly ground coffee in The Roastery and everyone can enjoy something delicious at Cedar Farm Café or take away a local home cooked treat from The Food Shop.

Located in the beautiful countryside near Parbold, Cedar Farm is home to 25 independent, creative businesses run by people with a real passion for their craft. A winner of the Lancashire Tourism Awards ‘Best Retail Experience’, Cedar Farm runs regular makers workshops on site as well as offering visitors an original, relaxing shopping experience.

Cedar Farm Studios is home to contemporary art, glassware, clothing, jewellery, home accessories, wood-carving, hand-crafted gifts, organic, natural skincare and excellent quality home-cooked food - all created by talented local makers and creators.
