Grand 125 Club

To celebrate their 125th Birthday, this year Blackpool’s Grand Theatre will launch the first ‘125 Club’.

Offered on a first come basis, a limited 125 members will have the opportunity to subscribe to 12 monthly payments of £12.50 per month. Then, each month, from the 125 members, three winners will be drawn who each win £125! You could even win multiple times, imagine!

Remember it’s only the first 125 people who subscribe and over the year there will be 36 incredible winners! Members will have the option to donate their win to the 125 Anniversary Appeal if they would so wish.

‘We’re offering many ways to support the theatre during our anniversary year, every £1 matters.’

125 years ago, local businessman Thomas Sergenson secured the world’s leading theatre architect, Frank Matcham, to design the magnificent jewel we know today.
Blackpool Grand Theatre has always been in the vanguard of development in theatre: it was the first theatre in Blackpool to be totally electric; it was the first to have a fully cantilevered circle eliminating the need for pillars to give every seat a clear view; and Matcham invented the crash doors that enabled a quick evacuation of the building. 

As they celebrate this important milestone, their mission is to secure the theatre for the next generation, starting with a campaign to raise £125,000 to repair the storm damage to the dome at the front of the building.
