The Harris Museum, Art Gallery & Library’s annual celebration of local artistic talent is fast approaching. Three top floor galleries will display the diverse talents of Preston-based artists and makers of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. The Harris welcomes a wide range of 'art mediums' to showcase their talents in sculpture, ceramics, film, painting, photography, textiles, installation and more. All exhibitors also have the option to sell their work.

The exhibition is open to all ages and disciplines provided you live or study within a five mile radius of the Harris. The gallery is also encouraging young people to enter with a section for under 18s.  Winners will be announced during the preview of the exhibition on 7 December between 6pm and 6.30pm, which is open to all.

Cllr Peter Kelly, Executive Member for Culture & Leisure at Preston City Council said,
"This popular exhibition really showcases Preston's creative talents and is a fabulous opportunity for artists of all ages to have their work go on display to the public. The Harris Open is always one of our most popular exhibitions and its a great way to feel connected with like-minded people'
