Join The Three Musketeers as they swashbuckle their way across Lancaster parkland this summer.

A new adaptation of the classic novel with a thoroughly modern twist will be performed outdoors in the UK’s biggest walkabout theatre season from July 3-August 18.

The scene will be set for a rare theatrical experience presented by the awardwinning Dukes theatre which has a tradition of presenting memorable productions for all the family.

With every show, the audience follow the action by moving from one fantastic location to another in Lancaster’s glorious Edwardian Williamson Park.

This summer, they’ll watch D’Artagnan team up with the legendary Three Musketeers in a death-defying quest to save the life of the queen.

Central to the drama is the stunning Ashton Memorial, once described as the grandest monument in England, from which audiences can enjoy the stunning sunset views across Morecambe Bay during the show and take in a picnic too.

Since 1987, more than half a million people from far and wide have enjoyed Lancaster’s outdoor walkabout theatre experience which won a UK Theatre Award in 2016.

The Three Musketeers is recommended for all adventurers aged 5+.
