On this very special evening, we will meet Diane (a former Scotland Yard and Metropolitan Police Fingerprint Expert and Crime Scene Examiner) with over 29 years' experience of crime solving.
In between tucking into two delicious courses, we'll examine forensics and other modern science technologies that Police use to investigate murders…
Take on the role of CSI to solve a murder!
You can meet your fellow investigators and enjoy an introduction from Diane Ivory, former Scotland Yard Fingerprint Expert and CSI.
What to expect from this unique event:
Fingerprint Masterclass – Diane shows you how to powder, lift, compare and identify fingerprints. You each take a full set of your own fingerprints.
Rookie CSI Training – Briefing on the types of evidence to look out for, including shoemarks, DNA, Blood spatter patterns, hairs & fibres
When it's time to enter the crime scene, you will receive:
Full CSI kit – suit, gloves, mask. Yours to keep should you wish to.
Police file containing suspect profiles, DNA, and fingerprints along with witness statements.
A CSI case with all the equipment needed to examine the scene to locate and recover physical trace evidence to help with your investigation.
Think you've solved the crime? Then, it's time for the debrief, during which teams report on what they have found and who they think the murderer is…
All this whilst enjoying a fantastic two-course dinner.
