Textile Printing and Stitching – Two Day Workshop

Join us at Queen Street Mill for a unique two-day printing and stitching workshop guided by our knowledgeable staff. Wednesday 20 March: On the first day of this two-part workshop, you'll be focusing on designing and creating your own print block to experiment with. Have a go at creating unique and colourful prints and patterns on our heritage calico.
You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our Slow Stitch group to decorate a calico banner that will be displayed in Queen Street Mill.
Thursday 21 March: On the second day, you will explore stitch and experiment with embellishments on your patch and the banner. You will develop and finish your designs and will be able to walk away with a truly unique piece, and the skills to explore print and stitch further. Learn new techniques, refine your skills and get creative.
Suitable for complete beginners.
All materials will be provided, as well as free tea and filter coffee.
