Leighton Hall is delighted by the return of The Festival Players for a special evening of Shakespeare in the Garden, with a performance of Shakespeare's final play, The Tempest.
The Festival Players are no strangers to the stunning backdrop provided by Leighton Hall's picturesque gardens. For over 25 years, this renowned travelling theatre company has brought the magic of Shakespeare to Carnforth, every summer. But this year marks a particularly special occasion, it’s the 10th anniversary of their groundbreaking tour which featured an all-male cast and all original music for the very first time. Since that milestone performance, every July, Leighton’s audiences have enjoyed a diverse array of Shakespeare's comedies and tragedies, each evening filled with laughter, drama, and timeless storytelling.
This year's recital of The Tempest, promises to be a triumphant blend of intrigue, magic, and humour.
