Hollywood is coming.
Nativity The Musical follows a primary school, St Bernadette's, where teacher, Mr Maddens, and his assistant, Mr Poppy mount a musical version of the Nativity with the students, promising it will be adapted into a movie. There is just one problem. It's all a lie.
Will Mr Maddens and Mr Poppy succeed in their efforts? You will only find out if you book your seats with The Atkinson. This amateur production is presented with arrangement with Music Theatre International. All authorised performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
About SONG:
SONG was formed in 1979, under the auspices of their senior society, Southport Amateur Operatic Society (now Southport Spotlights Musical Theatre Society), to stimulate the interest of young people in musical productions. Their first production was 'The Boyfriend' in 1980.
Open to young people from the age of ten upwards to eighteen, SONG produce two high quality productions a year, both performed at The Atkinson.
