Have you seen some of the fancy calligraphy writing on the paths in our gardens? Is it something you'd like to try your hand at and learn yourself?
Join us for a taster session as we invite local, family artists Mellor & Rose to help you learn the fundamentals of lettering and find out more information about the art form.
The workshop will start with a fun lettering workshop before finishing with the opportunity to put what you've learn into practice by writing straight onto the hoarding at the back of our building.
This sessions is designed for beginners with no experience and all required equipment will be provided.
Schedule:
10.30am - 12pm - main workshop
12pm - 1pm - lunch break*
1pm - 3pm - outdoor lettering
We ask that parents and guardians remain on-site for the duration of the workshop.
Please remember to bring lunch with you!
