We're kicking off the year with the legendary Foghorn Stringband all the way from Portland, Oregon. These folks are quite simply the gold standard for authentic old-time American string band music. With over 25 years of touring and eight albums under their belts, they've become one of the finest old-time string bands on the West Coast. The current lineup features Caleb Klauder on mandolin and fiddle, Stephen 'Sammy' Lind on fiddle and banjo, Nadine Landry on bass, and Reeb Willms on guitar – all masters of their craft. They continually draw from old-time, bluegrass, classic country, and Cajun traditions, delivering their music with what reviewers call "an unparalleled youthful energy, joy, and virtuosity." This is going to be a barn-stormer of an evening!
