Grateful Fred's have been pioneering Americana and Roots music in Formby, Southport and Liverpool since 2010 and during that time have presented some of the best US, Canadian and World artists.

On the first Wednesday of every month, join the Fredhead's at The Atkinson for a wonderful night of live acoustic music.

Her tempestuous, female-forward songwriting and vivid stage presence have been making waves in the UK and beyond, performing at iconic venues such as the Troubadour in London, the Bitter End in New York and the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville; as well as gracing festivals including Cambridge and Moseley, and selling out venues across Europe on regular tours.

Barry Jones
We are delighted to welcome back to Grateful Fred's our good friend and the author of that classic songs, "The Ballad Of Grateful Fred", Barry Jones.

Barry as well as being a renowned singer-songwriter in his own right, was previously the other member of "The Southbound Attic Band" with friend and bandmate Ronnie Clarkm who sadly passed away earlier this year, 2023.

Barry is a very talented and prolific songwriter with many EP's and albums available on his Soundcloud website account, soundcloud.com/southbound-attic-band.

You can expect a set full of variety and personality from one of Grateful Fred's favourite people.
