RSPB

Join the RSPB for a walk through beautiful Bowland farmland while learning about some of our most iconic wading birds.

The UK holds internationally important numbers of these species, which return to the uplands each spring to breed. Birds to look out for include curlew, lapwing, redshank, oystercatcher and snipe. We will discuss the life cycle and habitat requirements of these farmland birds and learn about the many farmers in Bowland who are working to protect and enhance their farm habitats. Suitable for adults and accompanied children of 10 years and over. Please note that dogs are not allowed on this event. (Face to face events will be subject to any coronavirus guidelines which may be in place at the time.) Booking essential.

For more information and to book a place please email hilary.mcguire@rspb.org.uk or phone 07971 753 456.
