Wyreside Lakes Fishery

Wyreside Lakes is a family run business situated in 120 acres of farmland at the foot of the Bowland Fells, Dolphinholme, Lancashire. There are 6 fishing lakes with a mixture of carp, pike and coarse fishing offering a variety of species and size which will provide a challenge to both the professional and novice angler.

Wyre Lake - ​​​​​​One of the premier carp waters in the North West with the current record weight standing at 39lbs. The lake is available to season ticket holders but day and night permits can be purchased during the week (Monday to Friday) from October to March with a minimum 48hrs pass required.

Sunny One - Stocked with carp, pike, bream, tench, roach and perch the lake record is currently ‘ The Captain’ at 32lbs.

Sunny Two - Originally their trout water, yet carp have resided in this lake since 1984. Also stocked with bream, tench, roach and perch. The top weight now stands at 31lbs.

Foxes - Stocked with carp. This water is available for day and overnight permits but is a minimum 24hrs at the weekend. The lake record is currently 'The Warrior' at 28lbs.

Bantons - This water is a members water. Daytickets are allowed on this water (max of 6 at anyone time) all bookings are by appointment only (not available on the website).  The largest known fish are 'Big Scale' at 36lbs and 'Big Un' at 32lbs.

River Lake - Mixed course runs water containing large bream & tench up to double figures. As well as carp up to 15lbs. Also stocked with F1s roach,  perch up to 3lbs and small Ide, chubb and barbel.

On site there is also a campsite with a full range of superb facilities for overnight stays including hard standing pitches, camping pods and lush green fields to camp on. There is a modern toilet and shower block with disabled access, shop selling basic fishing and camping supplies, launderette equipted with hairdryer and iron, licensed bar and a restaurant serving a good selection of food and a takeaway menu for those who wish to eat in the comfort of their tent, caravan or bivvy. Please note - the restaurant is only open all day Saturdays and on Sunday morning in the main season (March-December) and closed Sunday to Friday, however take outs will be available at specified times.

For the children there is a safe outdoor play area with swings, games room and lots of wildlife and woods to investigate. Every Staurday during main season April to October there is a childrens fishing club on River Lake. 

Open all year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
