Wyreside Lakes is a family run business situated in 120 acres of farmland at the foot of the Bowland Fells, Dolphinholme, Lancashire. There are 6 fishing lakes with a mixture of carp, pike and coarse fishing offering a variety of species and size which will provide a challenge to both the professional and novice angler.
On site there is also a campsite with a full range of superb facilities for overnight stays including hard standing pitches, camping pods and lush green fields to camp on. There is a modern toilet and shower block with disabled access, shop selling basic fishing and camping supplies, launderette equipted with hairdryer and iron, licensed bar and a restaurant serving a good selection of food and a takeaway menu for those who wish to eat in the comfort of their tent, caravan or bivvy. Please note - the restaurant is only open all day Saturdays and on Sunday morning in the main season (March-December) and closed Sunday to Friday, however take outs will be available at specified times.
For the children there is a safe outdoor play area with swings, games room and lots of wildlife and woods to investigate. Every Staurday during main season April to October there is a childrens fishing club on River Lake.
If you just want peaceful break then try the many walks around the lakes and go to the beautiful Fox’s Wood taking in the fantastic views of the River Wyre. If you like to be a bit livelier at the weekend, then go into the Fishermans’ Bar and Restaurant for a superb meal, drinks and a sing along!
All throughout the year there are various events held each week, from Karaoke /discos to themed nights and live entertainment.
Open all year except Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
