Join the very first Book Club Social, hosted by Riley's Loft bar.
The regular book club groups are extremely popular but small (meaning it's not always easy to join one) so it has been decided to try something a bit different. The Book Club Social is an event open to everyone. No need to be a book club member.
Just book your ticket. Collect your book from the bookshop (choose one from the three titles recommended by booksellers). Read at home. Meet up at Riley's Loft for an evening of book chat.
On the night you'll be seated in a small group, to chat with others who have read the same book, guided by booksellers. Visit by yourself or with a friend.
There'll be good company, book talk, drinks and other goodies in a welcoming space.
