The Atkinson salutes the Armed Forces.
Armed Forces Day is an annual opportunity to thank the Armed Forces community for their work and to learn more about life in the Armed Forces. The Atkinson, we will be supporting this event with special displays, themed talks, family-friendly activities and delicious food from A Great Little Place. Visit in your period vintage uniform or vintage civilian dress on the day.
About Armed Forces Day:
Showing support for the Armed Forces provides a much valued morale boost for the troops and their families. You can find out more about what they are doing at home and around the world by visiting the official sites of the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force. The UK Armed Forces defend the UK and its interests. They are busy working around the world, promoting peace, delivering aid, tackling drug smugglers, providing security and fighting terrorism. They have also been a critical source of training, weaponry and non-lethal aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as troops have fought to defend their country following Russia's illegal and unprovoked invasion.
