The Southern Loop to Great Eccleston is an on road 23 mile loop which should take about 3 hours to complete. It travels to the west and south of Garstang. Outward to the picturesque village of Great Eccleston via Nateby. A toll of 20p is needed per bike for the Cartford Bridge. Return via Elswick and Bilsborrow. Take care when crossing the main A6. Short incline on the return section to Garstang. While riding the route you will have a chance to take in some breath-taking scenery around the area.
In addition to Garstang, drinks, snacks, toilets and shops are all available in Great Eccleston. Café stops at the Courtyard café in Great Eccleston and pub stops at Owd Nells and Roebuck at Bilsborrow.
