If you are looking for a luxury break with a modern feel you will find this newly converted shippon really appealing, offering high end self-catering accommodation all year round in the Ribble Valley. This detached beautifully presented shippon has been tastefully converted by the owners, with close attention to detail, including oak engineered flooring, exposed brick walls and beams. Added to this is the benefit of a contemporary wood burning stove, fully equipped modern kitchen, an outdoor hot tub and complimentary Wi-Fi. All the things you need to make your stay enjoyable and a bit more special.
The living area focal point is the contemporary log burning stove which allows guests to create an ambient and relaxing setting. Vintage leather sofas offer a relaxing zone. There is also a 49" smart 4K television for your enjoyment and wireless speakers for you to connect to and listen to your music.
Having zip and link beds in both bedrooms allows the flexibility of either a super king or two singles (using top quality linens for your comfort, let your hosts know your preference and they will set them up ready for you). Both rooms are furnished with top quality handmade furniture and also have the benefit of a LCD TV. The house bathroom has a walk in shower enclosure with power shower, WC, and curved bath. There is also a heated towel rail and light up mirror.
The Shippon benefits from views to the front overlooking Parlick Fell and local farmland to the rear which provides a peaceful feeling, allowing you to totally relax and enjoy the countryside.
There is ample parking to the front of the property, including a detached garage should this be required. A rear garden with patio, garden furniture and facility to house a disposable BBQ is available for you to outdoor dine should you wish.
The location is great for those who also want to explore as far afield as the Lake District or The Forest of Bowland, Ribble Valley, Blackpool and Manchester city centre, which are all commutable. The property will also appeal to both those who are just looking for a relaxing break to get away from it all, or those who want a more active break. It will appeal to walkers, cyclists and golfers as Longridge Golf Course is very close by.
Bed linen, towels, and electricity are included, however neither smoking or pets are allowed. Arrival 15:00 onwards and departure by 10:00.
A starter pack of fuel for stove included, but additional logs and kindling are chargeable.
