Verve Triple Bill contemporary dance

Lancaster Arts welcomes the return of Verve for a bold triple bill, featuring work from internationally acclaimed choreographers with new approaches and propositions of what contemporary dance can be today.

Verve, the international touring dance company of Northern School of Contemporary Dance bring 16 incredible dancers to the Nuffield Theatre, performing works by Luca Signoretti, Bosmat Nossan and Sattva Ninja.  Luca's piece serves as a reminder to embrace vulnerability, and trust your own voice, even when the world is watching.  Sattva's artistry is known worldwide for their mystical, geometrical, and in-depth approach to storytelling in connection with sound.  Bosmat's work originates from an attraction to the unnatural, the exaggerated and the stylised, inspired by science fiction, comics, and surrealist art.

Each year Verve commissions choreographers from across the world to create artistically distinct, physically daring, and engaging dance work to be performed by graduate dancers from the NSCD.
