The Preston Weekender

After last year's epic Weekender, organisers Preston BID and Preston City Council, have upped the ante.  Iconic worldwide dance brand, Cream, will take over the Flag Market with a full production show, co-headlined by global legend Paul Oakenfold and the awesome Joel Corry, backed by Cream resident, Kola, and local support.

Twice voted the world's number one DJ, Paul Oakenfold was the first global superstar DJ, paving the way from Ibiza and Glastonbury to smash Las Vegas residencies.  He's not only a world-class DJ but also a hitmaking producer for artists like Happy Mondays, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, and The Rolling Stones.  His global radio show racks up 25m listeners, per month.  As the founding father of Perfecto Records, Oakenfold shaped the sound of house and trance music. His career highlights include three worldwide tours with Madonna and U2, performing on the Great Wall of China, and sold-out shows at the Hollywood Bowl.  

Joel Corry is a hit machine with over 5.5 billion streams to his name. Known for chart-topping singles like Head & Heart with MNEK, which dominated the UK charts for six weeks, Joel has collaborated with Charli XCX, Becky Hill, RAYE, and David Guetta.  With residencies in Ibiza and Las Vegas, tours across Australia and the USA, and appearances at festivals like Tomorrowland and Creamfields, Joel's style blends underground grooves with euphoric energy, making every set unforgettable.

In a change to the usual Sunday programme, a brand new family-friendly event will take place.
