The Morecambe 1940s Revival Festival

Pack up your troubles in your old kit bag and step back in time at the Morecambe 1940s Revival festival, where the style, spirit, and camaraderie of the Fabulous Forties are very much alive and kicking.

The era of swing, blitz spirit, rationing and victory rolls is brought back to life at this friendly volunteer-run festival through a variety of vintage entertainment, market stalls, dances and more.

Throughout the weekend be entertained by fantastic vintage vocalists - performing musical tributes to the Andrews Sisters and George Formby and timeless wartime numbers by the likes of Dame Vera Lynn, Glenn Miller and Gracie Fields - as well as a special performance from the Accrington Pipe and Drum Band. Enjoy traditional refreshments from the NAAFI-themed cafe, or something a little stronger from pub venues The New Inn and the Smugglers Den. And on the Saturday night, dance the night away to your favourite swing numbers at the 1940s ball (tickets required).

All are welcome with vintage attire entirely optional, but if you have your own outfit then why not dust it off, dress to impress, and maybe even strut your stuff in the Fabulous Forties fashion parade.
