The 1635 Household are back - come along and see what life was like at Gawthorpe Hall in the early 1600s.
Come along to Gawthorpe Hall and be transported back in time to the early 17th Century with the 1635 Company. See for yourself the people, clothes, food, everyday objects and hear the music of the past through these gentry reenactors. Meet the master and mistress of the house, their guests and servants and find out from them what life was like. An authentic, interactive experience where you can see and speak to real people in historical costume, with a whole array of replica historical items that bring the past to life. It is a great day out for families and history buffs alike, with lots to see and enjoy. Don't miss the highlight of them eating lunch at 1pm.
