If you go down to the railway, you're in for a very special day. Join a fun-filled teddy bears' picnic, where families are invited to bring their favourite teddy along for a full day of steam, play, and picnic adventures.
What's included. Your all-day ticket gives you access to:
Unlimited steam train rides throughout the day.
Entry to the museum and play areas.
A beautifully decorated site filled with teddy bears everywhere for you to find.
This is a relaxed, family-friendly day designed for children (and grown-ups) to explore, play, and enjoy the magic of the railway, alongside their cuddly companions. A proper picnic day. Make a day of it with your teddy by your side: Bring your own picnic and enjoy it on the train or on the platform. Or treat yourself to one of the special teddy picnic lunch boxes, freshly prepared in Alison´s Tea Room, perfect for enjoying wherever you choose. You might even spot a few teddy bears already having their own picnic around the railway.
Activities and fun. There's plenty to keep little ones entertained throughout the day:
Teddy Bear Trail. Follow the clues and find them all.
Arts and crafts. Create your own teddy-themed masterpieces.
Photo opportunities. A themed photo area packed with teddy bears, creating the perfect backdrop for memorable family photos or save the memory of the day with your teddy.
Teddy Bear Raffle. Win a giant new friend.
Make memories. This event is all about creating moments: Take photos with your teddy around the railway. Join in fun group moments and themed displays. Let your children enjoy a world filled with imagination and play. Teddy travels free because every bear deserves a day out.
