Steampunk Saturday at Ribble Steam Railway

Ribble Steam Railway is hosting a steampunk-themed event.  Sample special bottled beer on the train, wander amongst the many industrial steam engines and diesel locomotives in the museum or enjoy a cup of tea and a cake in the cafe.

Ride the train as long as you like, taking in the sights of the marina, while the train travels down the middle of the road over Preston's iconic docks swing bridge, then along the banks of the River Ribble.  Entry fee for full steampunk-dressed visitors, discounted from the normal £12.00 to £8.00.

There will be several steampunk trading stalls on site of various kinds.  Clothing and crafts.  Even some of the staff are going to great lengths with costumes to welcome you all along and join in the fun.
