This April sees the first solo outing of Borrows No.48 'The King'. The locomotive, turning 120 years young in 2026 was built locally in St Helens, and due to its diminutive size, doesn't regularly feature on the passenger services.
Tickets include entrance to the wonderful museum and all day travel on the trains. The gift shop will be open and the café will be serving drinks and light refreshments.
Timetable: 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00. Note: timetable subject to change. Limited online tickets available. However, you can also buy tickets on arrival at the museum. Cash and cards welcome.
