Silent film comedy double bill: Laurel & Hardy + Buster Keaton
Three Laurel & Hardy comedies + Buster Keaton's The General - all with live music!

Yorkshire Silent Film Festival kicks off a new season of live-scored silent film at Morecambe's beautiful Winter Gardens theatre with a double-bill of comedy greats:
5pm - 6.30pm: a trio of Laurel and Hardy comedies.
In Angora Love, Stan and Ollie are followed home by a stray goat. In From Soup To Nuts, they are inept waiters catering a posh dinner party, and in Liberty they are construction workers building a skyscraper. Whatever they're up to, they make a complete mess of it…

7.30pm - 9pm: Buster Keaton's epic railroad adventure-comedy, The General.
Tennessee railroad engineer Johnny Gray (Buster Keaton) loves his locomotive, The General. When it's stolen by Yankees, he sets out to get it back and epic, action-packed chase ensues. Based on a true story, The General is Buster Keaton's comedy masterpiece, packed full of beautiful visual comedy, daring stunts, and nail-biting dramatic tension.

LIVE music will be performed by Yorkshire Silent Film Festival's expert silent film musicians!

Each of these shows can be booked separately or discounted double-bill tickets are also available for those who want to spend all evening at the beautiful Morecambe Winter Gardens!
