The award-winning, Clitheroe-based wedding entertainment specialists Musique and luxury event suppliers Exceed Events have joined forces with James' Places to bring together an exclusive lineup of 16 of the North West's biggest and best live entertainers for a free festival like no other.

Shirefest promises a lineup of exclusive live performances from the region's best wedding acts.

Featuring a mix of Motown, pop, swing, jazz, folk, indie, classical crossover and Ibiza club bangers, there's guaranteed to be music for everyone to enjoy.

Recently announced to head up the billing are some of Musique's most exceptional artists including Desire DJ Live, Sam Ambers, and The Party Fettlers.

Desire DJ Live combines the best North West wedding musicians, consisting of DJ, male and female vocalists, a saxophonist and a percussionist to provide interactive full evening entertainment that keeps the atmosphere lively and guests in high spirits.

With a slick visual production to go with the music, guests will never go without entertainment and engagement. Dance the night away like you would in Ibiza or Croatia.

Sam Ambers has gained great popularity through mesmerising renditions of classic numbers across all genres.
Whilst playing homage to the likes of Jamie Cullum, Nat King Cole and Michael Bublé, Sam aims to refresh songs in an authentic, captivating style with a musical soulfulness and warmth that's bound to delight listeners of all ages.

Based in Lancashire, The Party Fettlers are a cheeky bunch of boys, bringing an energetic and modern performance to add a touch of fun to any event.

Starting with a mix of soul and swing classics, the guys get into the groove and bring the audience along for the ride, performing a range of pop music from the 70s to bang-up-to-date chart music.

Shirefest will take place at the Shireburn Arms Hotel in Clitheroe, Lancashire. The Shireburn Arms is part of the James' Places hotel collection. The 17th-century Shireburn Arms is a truly quintessential English venue set against the backdrop of the majestic Ribble Valley countryside.

Boasting south-facing terrace gardens and a beautiful blend of traditional architecture and contemporary fittings this is the perfect venue for both intimate and large-scale events.

Speaking about his excitement for their upcoming Shirefest showcase, Musique's managing director Jamie Turner said: "One of the most common questions we get asked is 'Where can we watch your artists live?'

"We cater primarily for the private event market so this showcase is a rare opportunity to enjoy the acts up close and personal, and for clients to ask us any questions they might have before booking their event entertainment.

"It promises to be a really exciting event."

Shirefest takes place at the Shireburn Arms Hotel, Clitheroe from 12pm - 6pm on Sunday, June 25.
