Shakespeare in the Garden

This years’ alfresco performance set in Leighton Hall’s beautiful gardens is “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”.  Performed by The Festival Players, this hugely popular comedy is performed by an all male cast with original music.  Leighton’s gardens open from 18:00 for pre-performance picnics. 

Since this is an open-air production, visitors should bring their own seating and warm clothes.

Morecambe, Lancaster and the Lune Valley is located in Lancashire, in the Northwest of England. Only 3 miles from the M6 off jct 35 and then on to the A6 North (signposted Milnthorpe) and follow the brown tourism signs for Leighton Hall. Narrow Lanes. Special yellow AA signs for coaches.

Public Transport Directions

Train to Carnforth, then bus to Warton; .Walk a half mile up the Coach Road. Stagecoach bus 51 travels to Leighton Hall (not Sundays) - call 0871 2002233 for more details.
