Pieces from Dickens and Hardy to Pam Ayres and Victoria Wood brought to you by two experienced theatre, film and TV actors, Helen Longworth (Hannah Riley in BBC R4's The Archers) and Peter Rylands (Theatre by The Lake, Royal Exchange and TV appearances including Peaky Blinders and Coronation Street) with your favourite carols, festive poems and readings plus some lesser-known surprises to get you in the mood for Christmas.
