A day of remembrance and respect.
Celebrate the city's serving soldiers, their families, and Preston's connection with the armed forces.
Later in the morning at the Cenotaph, Veterans, their families and friends will be in position. Standards march on, signalled by a performer playing the pipes, followed by a short service, readings, and an address from the president. Standard Bearers will march off at the end of the service.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to pay their respects to those who have paid their service to the Armed Forces on the Flag Market, at the Cenotaph.
