Chorley Amateur Dramatic & Operatic Society present the UK Premiere of this fast-paced comedy
Written by James Hindman
Directed by Sean Duxbury
Welcome to Popcorn Falls, a small American town whose only claim to fame – their namesake waterfall – has dried up along with their income. Now bankrupt and under threat from the mayor of a neighbouring town who wants to turn Popcorn Falls into a sewage treatment plant, their last chance is a large grant that can only be used if the town produces a play in a week. One big problem: no playhouse. Another problem: no play. Led by the Mayor and the local handyman, the enterprising townsfolk try to rise to the challenge and prove that art can make a difference.
A high energy production where a town's population is brought to life by just two performers, and the audience is whisked along in the campaign to save the town.
Performed 'in the round' in our Studio with unreserved seating
