View nature images from Mary Keenan at 1000 x magnification, using the Rheinberg Illumination technique, a method of lighting objects under a microscope using two or more coloured filters to create a contrast between the object and the background. All items will be on sale with a percentage of the sale directly supporting Martin Mere’s conservational work.
Use scopes to take a look at the intricate details of nature up close. Seeing nature in a brand new way.
Look at all of the different patterns in nature and pick up your free booklet to go and find your own nature to draw, whilst you explore the grounds. Have a go at brass rubbings of leaves and bark.
During the weekends and holidays, create your own solar print to take home with you. Solar prints use the sun’s energy to create beautiful images. Place an object on light-sensitive paper and reveal a piece of art using the sun.
