Burnley's first community choir (established in 1920) perform Mendelssohn's celebrated choral masterpiece Elijah. The 100 strong choir will be joined by a superb team of international soloists and professional orchestra.
Elijah is a dramatic story depicted vividly by Mendelssohn with stirring choruses depicting conflict, fire, water, chariots and ultimate triumph, along with moments of great beauty and pathos. This will be the choral highlight of the season in North East Lancashire.
