This group focuses on the period c1270- 1360 and very approachable & interactive. Visitors of all ages can be involved.
There is "spear drill", where kids from 3 to 83 are "drilled" in the use of spears using broom handles. It's great fun for all the family, and of course creates great photo's for the family.
A tented encampment, with interactive displays of medieval crafts such a weaving, medicine & dentistry, etc. Also displays of arms and some armour.
A double-roped arena for fighting & longbow archery demonstrations.
Displays of fighting with sword, shield, axe & spear and longbow demonstrations & talks about medieval battles and life.
Also stalls , our Cafe at the Manor and bar with garden terrace beer garden
