Morecambe Town Council brings Mars to Morecambe. Luke Jerram’s world-famous mars artwork will be in orbit at Morecambe Winter and it’s an experience you don’t want to miss. If you’ve ever wanted to visit another planet, now you can.
Measuring an impressive seven metres in diameter, you’ll be immersed into space as the internally lit replica revolves only a few feet away from you.
There will be a quiet hour every day between to support visitors with conditions such as autism, dementia, and ADHD.
Very special candlelight concerts will be hosted. Whether you’re looking for a beautifully unique music performance or a one-of-a-kind candlelit experience, the candlelight concerts are for you. You don’t need to know all things classical music to enjoy the events. Simply sit back and savour the stunning atmosphere. Hosted in one of Morecambe’s most iconic buildings, the walls will be flickering with candlelight, underneath Luke Jerram's world renowned Mars installation, creating a truly magical atmosphere not to be missed.
