LANCASHIRE DAY IN LANCASTER!

Since 1996 Lancashire Day has been celebrated as the county day of historic Lancashire! Developed and coordinated by Friends of Real Lancashire, it is held across the county on 27th November to commemorate the day in 1295 when Lancashire first sent representatives to Parliament.
To celebrate the occasion join us for a guided walking tour looking at 2000 years of history, as we explore the development of Lancashire's ancient County Town - Lancaster!
These tours depart from Lancaster Castle's main entrance – the John O'Gaunt Gatehouse - and last around 90 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the size of the group and the questions asked.
