Introduction to Crewelwork: 'Bird'
Come and enjoy a day of introductory Crewelwork. The little blue bird is designed to introduce students to a number of basic stitches used in traditional Jacobean Crewelwork – Trellis, Buttonhole, Fly and Heavy Chain, along with some more unusual techniques such as Whipped and Woven Wheels.

This class is open to everyone, even if you have never even threaded a needle – a great way to start embroidery.

The class kit will include everything you require to complete the project. You may like to bring your own embroidery scissors and you will be able to borrow ring frames, magnifiers and lights (if needed) on the day.
