In Conversation with Elisa Moris Vai
Fascinating artist discusses France's legacy of slavery in her artwork followed by a drinks reception and the chance to explore the museum.
A new international collaboration as Judges' Lodgings hosts French artist Elisa Moris Vai to discuss her work on the legacies of slavery with Prof Alan Rice. Elisa Moris Vai is an emerging artist based in Lille, France. At the intersection between documentary and fiction, Moris Vai addresses in her work French society's flaws. Mixing individual and collective levels, she tackles social representations, identity, and History through research-based projects. The event includes a chance to explore the period rooms and is followed by a drinks reception. In partnership with IBAR at UCLAN and Lancaster University
