'How to Paint with Pastels' – Painting Workshop with Les Darlow
This painting workshop is ideal if you have ever wanted to learn how to paint the landscape, or if you would like to improve the skills you already have. Although this is a pastel workshop, you can apply the techniques you will learn to any medium.

The workshop is led by professional artist Les Darlow, the UK's first Ambassador for Canson and associate artist for PanPastel and Unison Pastels. Les writes for many of the leading art magazines and paints in various mediums, specialising in pastels. He will demonstrate a range of composition techniques and will provide step by step guidance. You will gain new skills, discuss pastel equipment, and learn about tonal value.

The class will take place from 10:30am to 4:00pm in our Green Room. The price is £47 per session, including tea and coffee. This includes all your materials including £120's worth of pastels per person to use for the day, professional high quality papers, plus your Drawing Board and Easel.

We advise that you book in advance as places for this workshop are limited to 15 and we cannot guarantee availability on the day.

Please contact Les Darlow for further details and to book your place – tel 07900 576 840, email lesdarlow@sky.com
