EDINBURGH FRINGE PREVIEW! TV host Donald McGinty is live on stage with his award-nominated* show! Donald is here to tell you all about his time as host of the nations fifteenth favourite coast based travelogue, as well as how he got over his fear of the sea after all those people drowned. There will also be live updates from the seagull appeal, the grand final of the 2025 calender competition and a vaguely satisfying dramatic arc! If that's not enough for you, there will also be plenty of surprises, prizes** and Scottish accents***! A ridiculous character comedy show from Sean Mason (ComedySportz, The Totally Improvised Musical) parodying a show that hasn't been on TV in fifteen years.
"McGinty proves an affable captain of this enjoyable pleasure cruise." Steve Bennett, Chortle
"I went to this show and I haven't drowned since." Life's A Beach Magazine
"Too many seagulls." Seagulls Monthly
The night will open with a special preview of HEARD ON THE STREET, a brand-new improvised comedy show from the award-winning team behind ComedySportz and The Totally Improvised Musical! This talented team of comics create scenes and sketches inspired by real-life recordings of random conversations. No rehearsal, no script, no context!
"The team have certainly earned their title of North-West's top improvised comedy troupe." North West End
