Fun With Fossils

Trilobites, bones, shells and more - pretty much everything palaeontologists know about the pre-historic worlds of millions of years ago comes from the study of fossils. These 3D stone shapes were made a long, long time ago and are found deep underground by carefully excavating them. In this session we'll be looking at what real fossils have been found around the world and then having a go at making fossils of our own. Serious or silly? We'll leave that up to you!

Whilst you're waiting for your newly-made fossil to have a chance to dry you can hunt for dinosaurs around the house

Two sessions each Friday at 11.15am and 2.25pm
